Wide ranging development initiatives should not happen at the expense of the environment. By all means and at all cost, we shall protect our environment from the destruction and degradation, and ensure its long term sustainability.

We will commit to and implement a responsible management of our natural resources to fulfill present-day needs without compromising the needs of future generations. We will anticipate possible worst-case issues and scenarios in waste disposal and put in place potential solutions ahead of need.

To pursue this, our strategies will include:

  1. Waste Management Modernization (7 R’s) Program

  2. Green Public Space Development Project.

  3. Creation of a multi-sectoral San Pedro Environment Management Council to work with LGU in natural resources protection, conservation and utilization.

  4. Pursue National and International grants for Environmental Management Projects.
